The building is 17 years old and the auditorium is much wider than it is deep. Curved rows of theater seats position everyone in the audience closer to the platform which is good but obviously the conductor of the Watchtower Study needs a neck in top working order. Here are photos ...
This is looking across the width of the
auditorium. Yes, that's Carol on the right.

As far as I can recall this was our first experience being in a congregation that was almost exclusively black. Out of the 120 in attendance maybe 5 others were white. I mention this because it gave me the new and novel impression of standing out as visibly different in a large group (not that I haven't stood out as different in many other contexts). The feeling was entirely superficial of course but somehow I sense it was good for me and I enjoyed it. The folks, to be sure, made us know we were among brothers and sisters with no thought at all of whether our eyes were brown or blue.
Two strengths I observed in this congregation: (1) When they sing, they sing like they mean it! Very well done indeed. (2) At the end of a prayer you hear a loud and clear "Amen."
After the meeting I had opportunity to converse with the Watchtower Study conductor. In fact he sought me out. His first name is Sturdy. He explained he was born big and looking robust.
When the Witnesses bought the property for this hall, the company they purchased it from made them the gift of an adjacent property as well. Here is a photo of the free land ...
There are plans to build another Kingdom Hall
on this land soon.
That's the front end of our Toyota in the above photo. For more eye-catching vehicular design I post the following photo of the car we followed out of the parking lot ...
Every so often it's nice to include an "artsy" photo, yes?
