We had a video to show us an effective and brief
way to present the message.
A 4-minute Bible reading was given by Keece.
I'm not sure about the name spelling but it's not Keith as I originally thought. I chatted with him afterwards to commend him. He made sure I got the pronunciation of his name right. His reading was flawlessly smooth.
In the Congregation Bible Study segment about Hannah one sister commented that Peninnah "just kept popping out babies." Colorful way to put it.
Because the final song is a new one, they played the music through before attempting to sing it. Also, the recorded music is no longer a solo piano but an orchestra, in this instance a peppy syncopated one. How did it go? This congregation is not shy about singing. They sang full-throated like they'd known it for years. And the lyrics: "It's the person not the place, It's the heart and not the face. God's message to all people we extend." It was a spirited and moving performance.
The part about maintaining our house of worship was not lost on this young sister I photographed after the meeting.
This is Talya and she was happy I wanted to take
her picture.

Keece is 7 years old. I had a nice chat with him before the meeting and he was very animated. Told me he had given many Bible readings before.
